Synopsis: The story of Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York heiress who dreamed of becoming an opera singer, despite having a terrible singing voice.
My Review: I liked this movie, but not sure I’d recommend it. I don’t want to encourage delusional people any more than they already are. Meryl Streep is always good. She trained to be an opera singer, so this role would be a good fit for her. However, it is hard to sing badly and I thought she did a great job. Not a big fan of Hugh Grant, but I did believe he honestly loved her, despite being loaded. However, I thought the real stand out was Simon Helberg as her nervous/quirky pianist. He has great potential to act in something other than as a science nerd on BIG BANG THEORY, compared to others from that show.
