How viewed: Digital Streaming Download from iTunes. I hooked my laptop into my 55″ flat screen via HDMI cable.

Synopsis: Following the assassination of President John F Kennedy, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy fights through grief and trauma to regain her faith, console her children, and define her husband’s historic legacy.

My Review: I thought I was going to really like this movie, but unfortunately, I didn’t. Natalie Portman is okay as an actress, but I didn’t learn any more about Jackie Beauvier Kennedy than I knew before it started. I felt she was trapped behind a mask (for the public) and so was Natalie Portman. I never saw her inner life. She just kept stomping around, being defensive, smoking, yada.

Thank you Mr Fox Searchlight for giving me access to this movie so I could make an intelligent and informed opinion when casting my vote on the 23rd Annual SAG Awards.
